John Leslie Blanton age 62 of Paintsville Ky, passed away September 2,2017
He proceed in death by his mother Constance Blanton and his father Mervin Blanton; One daughter Samantha Blanton; One brother Mervin Lee Blanton.
He survived by one son Bryan Keith Blanton of Lancaster, Ky; one daughter Sabrina Blanton of Lancaster, Ky; two brothers Jim Blanton (Ruby) of Sitka, Ky and Kevlin (Tracey) Blanton of Lexington, Ky; One sister Jane (Gale) Bryan of Boons Camp, Ky; Six grandchildren Ethan, Gabriel, Zackary, Jeremiah, Levi, and Blaze
Visitation will be held Wednesday September 6,2017 at 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm in the Paintsville Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at the Patty Flat Cemetery at Fuget KY. Kermit (Junior) Vanhoose
Kermit Vanhoose Jr. age 56 of Nippa, Ky passed away on September 3,2017.
Proceded in death by his mother Vearlissia Vanhoose and one Nephew Jason Blair .
He is survived by his father Kermit Sr. of Nippa, Ky; One brother Johnny Vanhoose of Nippa, Ky; one sister Molly (Neal) Blair of Nippa, Ky; one nephew Paul Anthony Blair (Cindy) of Nippa, Ky; one niece Sabina (Nathan) Hayden of Meally, Ky; one great niece Teagan Blair; one very special friend Christopher Fannin, who he loved just like a son.
Junior was a member of the WR Castle fire department. He was Mechanic, welder and electrician. Also Junior was a avid radio operator (Ham Radio) at the amateur Radio Community Service Club. But most importantly a beloved son, brother, special uncle, and great friend to all who knew him. He will be truly missed by all.
Visitation will be held Thursday September 7 from 12 to 9pm in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral will be held Friday Septemeber 8 at, 12 noon in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Blair Vanhoose cemetery in Nippa, Ky. Arrangments are under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Stephanie Landin age 31 of Painstville, ky passed away September 5,2017.
She proceed in death by her Son Brandon Dean; One sister Lazara Landin.
She is survived by her Mother Carol Pfeiffer and Step-Father Burton Pfeiffer; Fiance Timothy Bratcher; Three son Collin Dean, Devin Dean and Jayden Bratcher; Three brother Marcial Levin, Joseph Livin and Jason Livin; One aunt Hilda Levin and one uncle Gary Levin; Several nieces and nephews; many cousins.
Visitation will be held Friday September 8,2017 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Arrangments are under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Tarncey Green , age 85, of Thelma Kentucky, passed away on September 18, 2017 at his home Surrounded by his family. Mr. Green was born April 8th 1932 in Knott County, Kentucky to Jessie Green and Lona Little Green.
Mr. Green is survived by two sons Lester (Awilda) Green, Tim (Cathy) Green and one daughter, Aimee Green Lyons, all of Thelma Kentucky. He is also survived by 5 grand children, Alex and Elizabeth Green, Casey Green Vanhoose (Jason), and Kendra and Kansas Lyons. Mr.green was blessed four great grandchildren Kyler Huber, Karmyn Reed & Karley Reed, Chloe Green-Vanhoose.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years, Henrietta; Six brothers, Harold, Ival, James, Hiwatha, Letcher and Cecil as well as two sisters Betty and Beulah.
Tarncey proudly served in United States Army and held the rank of Corporal. He was honorably discharged in June of 1954 after Serving in the Korean war. But his proudest achievement was leaving a testimony for the Lord when he was Saved on March 8th 2000. He was a Faithful member of the Hager Hill Freewill Baptist Church where he was ordained as a deacon.
Visitation will be held starting on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 4 pm to 9 pm, and Friday 9 am to 9 pm at the Hager Hill Freewill Baptist church . Visitation Saturday starting at 9 am until time of funeral service at 2 pm at the Hager Hill Freewill Baptist church, with Burial will Follow at Highland Memorial Park located at Staffordsville, KY.

Sedrick Blanton age 48 of Oil Springs, Ky passed away September 24,2017 at his home.
He proceed in death by his mother and father Wilma and Claude Blanton Jr. of Oil Springs; Three brothers Chuck Blanton of River, Ky, Samuel Blanton of Oil Springs , Ky and Jerry Blanton of Oil Springs, Ky; One sister Judy Blanton of Oil Springs , Ky.
He survived by two sons Joshua Blanton of Georgetown, Ky and David Walker Dennison 3III of Lexington, Ky. He is also survived by one brother Lenzie Blanton of Oil Springs; Two sisters Joyce Estep of Oil Springs, Ky and Peggy Webb of Oil Springs, Ky .
Visitation will be held Tuesday September 26 at 6:00pm. Wednesday September 27 starting at 9:00am at Pigeon Enterprise Baptist Church. Visitation will start Thursday at 9:00am until time of service at 11:00am at Pigeon Enterprise Baptist Church with Burial will Follow at Blanton Family Cemetery in Low Gap, Ky.
