Glen A. Williams
Glen A. Williams age 73 of Paintsville, Ky died Nov 5th at the Pikeville Medical Center. He is survived by his wife: Lois Janette Williams of Paintsville Ky, one son Glenn A. (Michelle) Williams of Paintsville Ky, two brothers James Williams of NewPort, Va and Mike Williams of Paintsville Ky, one sister Helen Helgeson of Minot North Dakota, two grandchildren: Sara and Holli Williams and one Step-granchild: Justin Thompson, along with a host of family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday Nov 6th from 6pm to 9pm at the Paintsville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1:00pm Sat in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Highland Memorial Park at Stafforsville,Ky. Tera J. Williams
Tera J. Williams age 70, died November 3rd at her home. Born to the late Robert L. Williams and Vina (Spriggs) Williams of Paintsville, Ky. She is survived by one sister; Shelby J. Muncy, and a host of family and friends. Viewing will start Wednesday at 10 AM until time of the Funeral at 1 pm in the Paintsville Funeral Home chapel, with burial to following at the Williams Family Cemetery at Meally Ky, with Elder Dewey Mack Mullins Officiating. Funeral services under the direction of Paintsville Funeral Home.
James Mason Cantrell
James Mason Cantrell age 78, of Hager Hill Ky, died November 9, 2015 at Pikeville Medical Center.Born to Clyde Cantrell and Corna Lee Johnson of Johnson County, Ky. He is survived by his sister: Bonnie Lyons of Hager Hill, Ky, and a host of family and friends. Visitation will held Thursday from 5pm to 8pm at the Paintsville Funeral Home. Funeral services to be held at the Paintsville Fuenral Home Chapel, on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 12:00 pm with James Williams, and Buddy McKenzie officiating. Burial to follow at the Cantrell Family Cemetery, Hager Hill, Ky. Arrangements are under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
James Perry age 71, of Paintsville passed away Tuesday evening , He is survived by his wife Donna Perry. Also surviving are his daughter Susan Patton, of Paintsville, KY, 2 sons James Perry JR., California, Charles Perry, Tenn. 3 brothers Frank, Ernest E., and David of Ohio. 3 sisters Lois West, Nina Nash, and Barbara Wright, all of Ohio and 8 grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at 3rd Street FWB Church, on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 12:00 PM. Rev. Larry Blair, officiated. Friends may call after 11am at the Church. In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at the Church.
Charles Gregory Jackson
Charles Gregory Jackson, age 55 of Paintsville Ky, died of on November 11, 2015, in Huntington, West Virginia.
Gregg, as his friends knew him, was born on September 9, 1960, in Paintsville, Kentucky, was a graduate of Paintsville High School, Transylvania University with a Bachelor of Arts Degrees, and had three years of professional education at the University of Kentucky. Gregg was an entrepreneur in Paintsville, operating a muffler shop and an antique shop with his grandfather and mother for some years.
He was the son of William H. Jackson, now of Louisa, and the late Joan Carol Sturgill Jackson of Paintsville Ky. His mother and his maternal grandfather and grandmother C. V. Sturgill and Gladys Lester Sturgill predeceased him in death, as did his paternal grandmother and grandfather, Ruth H Jackson and William H. Jackson, Sr.
Surviving Gregg is his father, two half-sisters, Amity Jackson Norton (Todd Norton) of Georgetown, Kentucky and Gretchen Jackson Harris (Dr. Spencer Harris) of Louisa, Kentucky, 6-nephews, and 1-niece.
Also surviving are his cousins Steve Lester of Jamestown, North Carolina, Bill Lester of Lexington, Kentucky, Sherry Lester King of Cincinnati, Ohio, Sam Lester of Louisa, Kentucky, and Dr. James Lester, of Louisa, Kentucky.
The memorial service will be held Wednesday in the Highland Memorial Park Chapel located at Staffordsville, Ky at 2:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the building fund of Louisa United Methodist Church, 816 Pine Hill Road, Louisa, KY 41230.
