Robert Hamilton Lyons age 80 of Hager Hill passed away on November 4, 2018 at his home. He was born to late James and Juanita Lyons in Johnson County, KY.
Robert was a member of the Rockhouse Freewill Baptist Church and a retired employee with General Motors in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Survivors include his wife Bonnie Cantrell Lyons of Hager Hill; two daughters Annette Lyons (Mike) Morrison of Cincinnati and Gail (Randy) Wray of Hager Hill ; three brothers James (Pat) Lyons of Portsmouth, Frank Lyons of Staffordsville, Butch (Ann) Conn of River; four grandchildren Robert K. (Vickie) Griffith of Cincinnati, Mandy (Dennis) Bosse of Cincinnati, Stephanie (Tanner) Stambaugh of Richmond and Charles (Bailey) Taylor of Hager Hill; ten great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by one brothers John Lyons and two sister Nanette Mulvaney Frances Stambaugh .
Funeral services will be on Wednesday November 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may call at the Paintsville Funeral Home on Tuesday November 6 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Wednesday from 9:00 am until time of service. Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery at Hager Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Glen R. Butcher
Glen R. (Bub) Butcher age 89 of Tutor Key, Ky passed away on Sunday November 18, 2018 at Pikeville Medical Center. He was born on June 15, 1929 in Paintsville to the late Glen S. (Beaner) and Mae White (Conley) Butcher.
Glen was preceded in death by his wife Mary Sue Daniel Butcher and a son Daniel (Danny) Butcher. He is survived by one son Kenny (Pam) Butcher of Nippa and one daughter Nancye (John) Stapleton of Baker Branch. Also surviving are seven grandchildren Anthony (Kearston) Daniels, Kristi (Joey) McCoy, Kalli (Devin) Wheeler, Kenzie Butcher JoBeth (Chris) Bailey, Jennifer (John) Jenkins and Jessica (Gary) Burchett, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday November 23 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at the Highland Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
Friends may visit the Paintsville Funeral Home on Wednesday November 21 from 3:00-9:00 pm, on Thursday November 22 from 6:00-9:00 pm and on Friday at 9:00 am until the time of service.

Stella R. Preston
Stella Vivian Preston age 77, of Paintsville Ky, entered into rest on November 26, 2018. Stella was born on April 7,1941 in Paintsville to the late Henry Rice and Mae (Cantrell) Rice.
Stella is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Preston. She is survived one brother Larry Jo (Sandra) Rice of Lexington, Ky. two sons Marty (Ragan) Preston of Lexington Ky, and Rusty (Rebecca) Preston of Paintsville Ky. One stepdaughter Suzy Sullivan. Six Grandchildren Jansen, Jack, Hagan, Ava, James, Abbygail and two step grandchild Patrick Sullivan and Courtney Sullivan. Three special nieces. A host of great nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held Wednesday 5 to 9 and Thursday 5 to 9 at the Paintsville Funeral Home. Funeral will be held on Friday at 11am in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Mayo Memorial Cemetery Paintsville Ky.
