Norma "Jeannie" Hackworth Salyer
Norma "Jeannie" Hackworth Salyer, 48, of Tutor Key, wife of James Salyer and daughter of the late Letha Bayes Hackworth, died Sunday morning. Other survivors include her father, Herbert Hackworth; 2 sons, Brandon Thornbury and Eric Thornbury; 4 daughters, Brittany Salyer, Breanna Salyer, Shyanne Salyer and Amanda Howard; 2 brothers, Kelly Runyon and Eric Hall; 1 sister, Tamela McKenzie; and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 1 p.m. in the Chapel o the Paintsville Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, Ky. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 9 a.m.
Cecelia Picklesimer, 80, of Auxier, KY died Monday morning at the Highlands Regional Medical Center. She is survived by 1 Son: John Picklesimer; 1 Daughter: Robin Picklesimer; 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great-GrandchildrenFuneral services will be held Wednesday 11am in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Rice Family Cemetery, Stambaugh, KYVisitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home, Tuesday 5-8pm, Wednesday 9am.

Thelma K. White, 79, died June 20, 2015 at her home surrounded by family and dear friends. She was the wife of the late Dee Wayne White. She was born to the late Henry Raymond and Grethel Jordan King on June 11, 1936 in Jenkins, KY. She is survived by 1 Brother: Tom Raymond King, Paintsville, KY.; 1 Sister: Phyllis Ann King Miller, Reisterstown, MD; Nieces and Nephews and 3 Special Friends: Arbara, Bill and Reba.Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church, Paintsville, KY with Dr. Wayne Cornett officiating. With burial to be held at a later date.
Gegie Deskins, 56, died Monday, June 22, 2015. She was born on August 16, 1958 to Alfred and Betty Meade Deskins in Paintsville, KY. Brenda Kay Dickerson departed her Earthly home on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Pikeville Medical Center, following an extended illness. She entered her Heavenly home at the age of 60 years, 6 months, and 12 days.She was united in marriage to Larry Dickerson on December 7, 1982. Through this union they had one son Anon Lee Dickerson. She was a loving wife and mother and always helped to provide for her family. She cherished family time and aiways set a godly example. Brenda accepted Jesus Christ as her savior on July 7, 1985. She was baptized on May 18, 1986, She was a member of Open Fork United Baptist Church from May 11th, 1986 until 2011. She joined Lakeside Freewill Baptist Church in spring 2011 and was a faithful member there until the Lord caSied her home.Brenda was a special lady to her family and friends. She had an infectious laugh and a smile that could light up the room. She had a heart of gold and gave the Lord credit for all of her many blessings.Brenda is preceded in death by her father Anon Lee Ferguson and mother Sophia Fyffe Ferguson; one sister Iretha Stambaugh; one niece Martha Lynn Stambaugh and one great nephew Austin Bevins. including her husband Larry Dickerson she is also survived by 1 Son: Anon Lee (Jeanette) Dickerson of West Liberty; 1 stepson Allen Butts of West Liberty; 1 stepdaughter Sherry (Nathaniel) Blevins of Barboursville, West Virginia; 1 Sister. Caroleene (Vonnie) Gambill of West Liberty; 1 Foster Sister Rissie (Bobby) Jenkins of Fairborn, Ohio; 1 Brother-in~Law: Roger Stambaugh of Goshen, Indiana; 6 Grandchildren; Carolyn Wiszniewski, Rebecca Wiszniewski, Ryan Bievins, Charolette Bievins, Amber Britten, and Gabriel Bevins; 1 Great-Grandchild Raina Butts; 1 nephew William Jeffrey (Sharissa) Stambaugh of Valparaiso, Indiana; 3 nieces; Chelisha "Sissy" Parks of Goshen, Indiana, Tammy (David) Coil of Goshen Indiana, and LaShae (James) Bevins of West Liberty; 3 great nephews Steven Stambaugh, Michael Parks and Matthew Coil; 4 great nieces Sara Richardson, Kaylee Parks, Anna Coil, and Ashley Coil and one special friend Norma Jenkins of West Liberty.Brenda will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
