David Jonathan (Johnny) Webb
David Jonathan (Johnny) Webb Sr., age 73 of Oil Springs passed away Thursday February 1 at Highlands Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 4, 1945 in Johnson County to Jonathan and Cava Webb.
He is survived by his wife Eulah Marguerite of Oil Springs; 1 son David Webb Jr. of Oil Springs;1 daughter Marguerite Rosaile Webb of Hager Hill; 3 sisters, Cora Webb of Oil Springs, Mary Sites of Whitehouse and Roberta Weikert of South Carolina; and 5 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday February 2 at the Low Gap United Baptist Church from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and on Saturday at the church from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Sunday February4 at the Low Gap United Baptist Church at 11:00 am with burial immediately following the services at the Baldwin Cemetery at Low Gap.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.

Mary Jo Blair
Mary Jo Blair, the daughter of the late Winnie and June Horne Williams was born May 21, 1926, at Oil Springs, KY. Mary Jo slipped away to rest Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Paul B. Hall Medical Center at the age of 91 years and 9 months.
She leaves behind her son, Joe Dwight Elswick; her daughter, Judith Carol Collins, both of Oil Springs, KY. Her granddaughter, Angie Clowdus and husband, Curtis Clowdus of Oklahoma City, OK; two step-grandsons, Eddie Coleman, his wife, Patricia of Lexington, KY; Jody Coleman, his wife, Kris, of Winchester, KY; and five great-grandchildren, Caleigh and Carlie Clowdus from Oklahoma City, and Gary, Anna, and Sophie Coleman of Lexington/Winchester, Kentucky, as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Truman Elswick and by her second husband, Alwayne Blair. She was also preceded by her brother, Thomas Williams; and her two sisters, Julia Preston and Prudence Smith.
For more than 20 years, she worked as the cafeteria supervisor for the Johns Creek School System. Afterwards she worked for several years in the deli at Velocity Market. She enjoyed working as well as all the time spent meeting so many people. She frequently babysat for friends and family, was a talented cook, and loved spending time with her family.
Mary Jo was saved and baptized into the Fishtrap United Baptist Church on October 21, 2000. She attended church for many years until her health prevented her from doing so. Mary Jo was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease in the fall of 2015. She continued to participate in household chores and activities such as cooking, cleaning, and taking care of her family for as long as her body and mind would allow. We take comfort in knowing she is finally reunited with family and friends, she is restored to a pain-free physical state as well as a healthy mind. Mary Jo was known for her sweet spirit and kindness and loved by all who knew her. She will be missed everyday by her family but forever loved and cherished in their hearts.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 14 in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00- 9:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 15 at 11:00 am in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel with burial immediately following in the Williams-Reed Cemetery at Oil Springs, KY.
The family will accept flowers in memory of Mary or contributions can be made to the Alzheimer Association, the Fishtrap United Baptist Church or the Whiskers and Wags Organization by contacting the Paintsville Funeral Home.

Michael Brown age 43 of Swamp Branch, passed away on Friday, February 23 in Paintsville Kentucky. .He was born in 1974 to Dorton Brown and Wanda Jackson. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister Renee Brown Pelfrey (Brian); one daughter Andrea Dawn Brown and a host of nieces and nephews.
Michael was a self -employed carpenter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 25 from 5:00 to 9:00 and on Monday February 26 from 3:00- 9:00 in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be on Tuesday February 27 at 2:00pm in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Jackson Family Cemetery at Swamp Branch.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Paintsville Funeral Home to defray the funeral expenses.
