Stacy Bland age 47 of Paintsville Ky passed away surrounded by family and friends at University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Ky on February 4, 2019. She was born September 8, 1971 in Memphis Tennessee to John and Nadine Stinson Bland.
Stacy is Survived by her Significant other Brent Horne of Paintsville, Ky. One son Dylan Howard of Paintsville, Ky. Along with Countless friends and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Nadine Stinson Bland both of Paintsville, Ky.
Visitation well be held on Tuesday February 5, 2019 at the Paintsville Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Visitation Wednesday February 6, 2019 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Paintsville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Webnesday February 6, 2019 at the Paintsville High Gymnasium at 2:00pm with Harry Neal Frisby officiating. Burial to Follow at the Johnson County Cemetery in Staffordsville, Ky. Arrangements are under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home
Betty Meade Deskins age 85 of Oil Springs, Ky passed away on February 7, 2019 at here home.
She was on born March 21, 1933 in Johnson County, Ky to Lindsey and Gegie Conley Meade .
Betty is Survived by One grandchild Carla VanHorn of Lexington, Ky and four great grandchildren.
She is precede in death by both of her parents Lindsey and Gegie Conley Meade.Her husband Alfred Deskins and one daughter Gegie Deskins
Visitation will be held at the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday February 10, 2019 from 12:00pm to until time of service at 1:00pm Wayne Meade Jr will be officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Paintsville Funeral Home.
Shantel Faith Trent
Shantel Faith Trent age 26 of Lexington, Ky passed away from this life on February 19th 2019. She was born on April 7, 1992 In Prestonsburg, Ky.
Shantel is survived by her two beautiful daughters Hailee Jade and Jaida Rayne. Her mother Wendy Martin and Waylon Chandler. One sister Markita Trent and Robbie Taylor; Her maternal grandmother Verona Heuser; Her paternal Grandfather Gilbert Martin and Ella Galloway; Maternal Great Grandmother Minnie Ward; Aunt Rachel Martin Jeff Blair; Uncle James Martin Misty Hyden; Many Great Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended family and friends. Shantel was full of life and was always the one to be there for those in need. Everyone loved her very much. She is going to be missed by so many. The family has asked in lieu of flowers donations be made toward a go fund me account for her family in end of life costs and continued care for her sweet girls. Any amount of prayer and money are greatly appreciated.

Janet Sayler, age 78, walked in faith from April 17, 1940 until she departed us and entered Heaven on February 18, 2019. Born to the late Ollie Blanton Conley and Ralph Conley, she was a long-time member of Eastside Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Anita (Jody) Picklesimer. She leaves behind her husband, Raymond; his son, David Wren (Cheryl); Janet and Raymond’s children, Tony Salyer and Lisa Lannon (Dustin); and grandchildren, Karina, David, Logan, Lariah, and Seven. Also survived by her siblings, Karen Sue Duncan, Sharon (Wade) Cantrell, Larry (Jean) Conley, Norvan Conley, and Paul (Connie) Conley; and numerous nieces & nephews. Janet will be missed by everyone who knew her, and we will hold on to all the special memories forever. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 10a.m.- 12p.m. at Eastside Freewill Baptist Church, 2735 Hilltop Ave. Springfield, Ohio with service beginning at 12p.m. Pastor Jim Baldridge officiating. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel starting at 9:00a.m.- 12p.m with a grave side service being held at Jayne Memorial Cemetery in Staffordsville, KY. Sharon K. Conley
Sharon K. Conley age 71 of Oil Springs, KY went home to be with the lord on February 21, 2019. Sharon was Born on October 18, 1947 to the late Paul and Pink Picklesimer Prater of Johnson County.
She is survived by her loving husband Larry Conley and three sons Mike (Rebecca) Conley, Greg (Linda) Conley and one step-son Larry (Tracy) Conley; one sister Mary Carol (Johnny) Vanhoose ; sixgrandchildren.
She preceded in death by one brother Paul Michael Prater and 1 sister Linda Sue Dyer.
Visitation will be held at the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday February 23, 2019 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and visitation will be held on Sunday February 24, 2019 from 9:00am to 10:00pm and Visitation on Monday from 9:00am till time of service at 1:00pm. Burial will immediately follow the service at the Conley Family Cemetery in Oil Springs, KY. Arrangements are under the directions of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Iris Mildred Blair
Iris Mildred Ward Blair age 92 of West Van Lear, Ky waltzed through the pearly gates on February 28, 2019. Iris was born on December 8, 1926 to Asbury and Mable Williamson Ward of Johnson County, Ky. On September 24, 1947, she married the love of her life Dennis Blair and they spent over 60 happy years together.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents Asbury and Mable Williamson Ward; husband Dennis Blair; one infant son Donald Lee Blair; one brother; two sisters; two infant sisters;
Iris is survived by two sons Jim (Mary Jane) Blair and Ronnie (Sara) Blair; two grandchildren Matthew (Erin) Blair and Carrie (Landon) Messal; five great grandchildren Cora, Quinn, Cade, Emily and Avery. Along with a community of neighbors and friends, dance partners, Rook playing partners, Brothers and Sisters in Christ and one adopted daughter Mary Ann Rutledge.
Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church on Friday March 8, 2019 from 1:00pm – 9:00pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday March 9, 2019 at 1:00pm. There will be visitation from 10:00am until time of service on Saturday. Burial will follow at the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, Ky. Arrangements are under the directions of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
