ANNA PAULETTE COLE
Anna Paulette (Mayhan) Cole age 59, of Sitka, Ky passed away Thursday March 1 at the Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center. She wab born to Challie “Chat” and Lillian (Jayne) Mayhan in 1958. She is preeceeded in death by her parents as well as 2 brothers , Jessie Mayhan and Challie Ray Mayhan and one sister Bonnie Jo O'Brian.
Surviving are her husband Billy Joe Cole of Sitka; one daughter Miranda Blevins (Sebastian Little) of Hager Hill; one brother Ronnie Mayhan of Paintsville; three sisters, Frances Henderson of Florida, Pam Ramey of Sitka and Vicky Mayhan of Inez; six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Anna was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother.
Visitation will start on Sunday March 4 at 3:00 pm at the Church of God's Grace in Salyersville, KY and continue all day on Monday March 5 and Tuesday March 6 until time of her funeral services at 1:00 pm at the Church of God's Grace in Salyersville, Ky. Burial will follow at the Cole Family Cemetery at Hood Creek-Sitka, Ky.

Mary Jo Blair
Mary Jo Blair, the daughter of the late Winnie and June Horne Williams was born May 21, 1926, at Oil Springs, KY. Mary Jo slipped away to rest Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Paul B. Hall Medical Center at the age of 91 years and 9 months.
She leaves behind her son, Joe Dwight Elswick; her daughter, Judith Carol Collins, both of Oil Springs, KY. Her granddaughter, Angie Clowdus and husband, Curtis Clowdus of Oklahoma City, OK; two step-grandsons, Eddie Coleman, his wife, Patricia of Lexington, KY; Jody Coleman, his wife, Kris, of Winchester, KY; and five great-grandchildren, Caleigh and Carlie Clowdus from Oklahoma City, and Gary, Anna, and Sophie Coleman of Lexington/Winchester, Kentucky, as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Truman Elswick and by her second husband, Alwayne Blair. She was also preceded by her brother, Thomas Williams; and her two sisters, Julia Preston and Prudence Smith.
For more than 20 years, she worked as the cafeteria supervisor for the Johns Creek School System. Afterwards she worked for several years in the deli at Velocity Market. She enjoyed working as well as all the time spent meeting so many people. She frequently babysat for friends and family, was a talented cook, and loved spending time with her family.
Mary Jo was saved and baptized into the Fishtrap United Baptist Church on October 21, 2000. She attended church for many years until her health prevented her from doing so. Mary Jo was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease in the fall of 2015. She continued to participate in household chores and activities such as cooking, cleaning, and taking care of her family for as long as her body and mind would allow. We take comfort in knowing she is finally reunited with family and friends, she is restored to a pain-free physical state as well as a healthy mind. Mary Jo was known for her sweet spirit and kindness and loved by all who knew her. She will be missed everyday by her family but forever loved and cherished in their hearts.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 14 in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00- 9:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 15 at 11:00 am in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel with burial immediately following in the Williams-Reed Cemetery at Oil Springs, KY.
The family will accept flowers in memory of Mary or contributions can be made to the Alzheimer Association, the Fishtrap United Baptist Church or the Whiskers and Wags Organization by contacting the Paintsville Funeral Home.
