Betty R. Estep
Betty R. Estep age 71 of Flat Gap passed away on Wednesday August 1, 2018 in Ashland Kentucky.
She was born in 1946 to Ova and Polly King Conley at Flat Gap, Kentucky. At the time of her death she was employed as custodian at the Johnson County Kentucky Courthouse.
Betty is survived by her husband Willis George Estep of Flat Gap; one son Steven A. (Connie) Estep of Staffordsville; one daughter Elizabeth Ann White (Alton) of Flat Gap; 2 brothers Orie E. Conley of Syracuse, Indiana and Ronnie L. Conley of Fulton County, Indiana; one sister Linda King of Paintsville;
9 grandchildren Zachary Wright, Ashley Wright, Ethan White, Emma Estep, Abigail Estep, Olivia Estep, Ilana Estep, Austin White and Christopher White: and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 4, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be on Thursday August 2 from 5:00-9:00pm and on Friday August 3 from 1:00-9:00pm in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow the funeral service in the Patty Flat Cemetery at Flat Gap, Kentucky.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Billie Jean Fairchild
Sue Blair, age 60 of Paintsville, Ky passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Highland Regional Medical Center. Sue was born in 1958 to James and Ruth Hutchison in Dayton Ohio.
She is survived by her husband Jeff Blair; two son J.D (Canisha) Blair and James (Jennifer) Jenkins; one sister Betty England; two grandchildren James Russell and Jackson Blair; one great grandchild Remington Steinkruger ; and her beloved dogs and cat Princesses, Little, Charlie, Fur ball.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Larry Hutchison.
There will be no public visitation or funeral at this time. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. All arrangements are under the direction of Paintsville Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to the Johnson County Animal Shelter by contacting the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Billie Jean Fairchild, age 86 of Staffordsville,passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 atPikeville Medical Center.
She is survived by 3 daughters Alice Rice of Staffordsville, Joyce Castle of Whippoorwill and Phyllis Skaggs of Blaine; one brother Bobby Reed of Georgia; one sister Janice Jonesof West Virginia; 4 grandchildren Alex Rice, Mary Reed, Robby Skaggs and Phillip Skaggs ; 2 great grandchildren ; and one great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband HobertFairchild and one sister Wilma Wheeler
Funeral Services will be held in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday August 11, 2018 at 2:00pm. Visitation will begin in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday August 11 at 10:00 am until the time of services.
Burial will follow the service at the Reed Cemetery at Oil Springs, Kentucky.

Wonnie Toddy Curtis
Wonnie (Toddy) Curtis age 84 of Flat Gap, Kentucky passed away at Paul B. Hall Medical Center on August 16, 2018. Toddy was the son of John and Eulah Cantrell Curtis of Johnson County.
Toddy was preceded in death by his wife Lunna Mae Curtis; two sons James Curtis & Cecil Curtis of Flat Gap; one daughter Sandra Sexton of Paintsville; one brother Bobby Curtis of Flat Gap.
He is survived by six sons Mike(Glenda) Curtis of Staffordsville, Johnny (Anita) Curtis of Sitka, Tony Curtis of Flat Gap, Carl (Lola) Curtis of Keaton, Matthew (Kay) Curtis of Martha, and Bryan (Michelle) Curtis of Ohio; five daughters Barbara (Arthur) Castle of Nippa, Patricia (Rick) Moore of Ashland, Donna (Scotty) Lemaster of West Van Lear, Rachael Curtis (Chris) Adams of Salyersville, and Paula Stumbo of Stambaugh; two sister Edna Clark of Texas and Eugena Foster; 36 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Toddy was an ordained Minister and Assistant Moderator at the Cold Springs United Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 11:00am at the Cold Springs United Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Cold Springs United Baptist Church starting at 5:00pm, on Saturday August 18 beginning at 10:00am, and also on Sunday beginning at 9:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at the Patty Flat Cemetery in Fuget, Kentucky.
