Charles "Goose Eye" Williams
Charles “Goose Eye” Williams passed away peacefully, Saturday, August 15, 2015 at his home in Delaware, OH., surrounded by his family. Charles was born on April 29, 1932 to the late Walter and Ethel Caudill Williams of Staffordsville, KY. Also he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Meade Williams, Daughter Mary Ethel Williams and his sister Thelma Williams Kling of Pennsylvania. He is Survived by his wife Alka Bayes Williams, Step-Daughter Denise Baker and Step-Son David Daniels, all of Delaware, OH. He is also survived by his Daughter Dessie Williams Cantrell and Son Charles Williams Jr., both of Oil Springs, KY. Others left to mourn are Grand Children: Joey Blanton Jr. of Lousiville, KY, Valerie Blanton of Oil Springs, KY, Ashley Barnett of Salyersville, KY and Tyler and Angie Williams of Booneville, KY. In addition to children and grand children; Brothers: Elden Williams and Donald Williams of Staffordsville, KY, David Williams of Paintsville, KY and Walter Williams of Nippa, KY. Also A Sister: Glenna Trimble, Staffordsville, KY and a host of nieces, nephews and friends that will miss him greatly.
Paul Dwayne Stapleton, 38, husband of Shawna Risner Stapleton, died August 27, 2015 at his home. He was born to Paul Stapleton Sr. and Garnetta Meade Montgomery on July 6, 1977 in Paintsville, KY. Including his parents, he is also survived by 2 Daughters: Hannah and Destiny Stapleton; Step-Son: Austin Risner; Step-Father: Pat Montgomery; Sister: Marie Rowe and a host of other Family and Friends.Funeral Service will be held at the First Community Baptist Church, Falcon, KY on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 1:00PM with Lindsey Meade Officiating and Burial to follow at Eva's Memorial Garden Cemetery, Oil Springs, KYFriends may call Friday, August 28, 2015 at the First Community Baptist Church, Falcon, KY after 6PM, All Day Saturday, August 29, 2015 and also Sunday until the time of service.
Gertrude Preston, 88, passed away August 7, 2015 at her home. She was born to the late Marion and Gertrude Bowling Castle on August 4, 1927 in Van Lear, KY. She is survived by her Son: Walter Lee Preston; Her Sister: Alice Waterman and a host of Nieces and Nephews A Memorial Service will be held at the Concord Independent Church, Hager Hill, KY on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 12:00PM. With Rev. Steve Rose officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, KY Friends may call Saturday August 15, 2015 from 10am-12pm at the Concord Independent Church.

Okie Jewell Stambaugh, 81, died August 22, 2015 at the Salyersville Nurising Home, Salyersville, KY. She was born to the late Johnson and Jenny Vanhoose Patrick on August 17, 1934 in Paintsville, KY. She is survived by 2 Sons: Danny McKenzie & Minyard Carl "Duke" Stambaugh; 2 Daughters: Pamela Jenkins & Tamera McKenzie; 12 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren; 6 Great-Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00AM. With Rev.
