Mary Aleene Trusty
Mary Aleene Trusty, 88, resident of Whitehouse, Ky for 50 years, passed away on April 25th, 2015, at Community Hospice of Ashland, Ky. Preceded in death by her husband Otis Trusty. Mrs. Trusty is survived by 3 children, Gordon Bruce (Charlene) Trusty of Thelma, Ky, Carol (Lloyd) Williams of Gulfport, MS and Brenda Walker of Whitehouse, Ky. She was grandmother to 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by Isaac Rowland at the Paintsville Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 28th, 2015 at 1 p.m. Visitation will be on Monday, April 27th, 2015 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Burial will be at the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Robert M. Conley
Robert M. Conley, 95, of Paintsville, KY, husband of the late Barbara A. Conley, died Friday morning at his home. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Roningen; 2 grandchildren; and 1 sister, Sue Sherman. Funeral services will be held Sunday 2 p.m. at the Mayo Memorial Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Mayo Memorial Cemetery, Paintsville. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Frelan Bradbury, 97, of Paintsville KY, husband of the late Aileen Bradbury, died early Thursday morning at the Mountain Manor Nursing Home. He is survived by a special cousin Doris Ann (Perry) Cutlip; Several Nieces and Nephews and Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews. Funeral Services will be held Sunday 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Paintsville, KY. With Dr. Wayne Cornett officiating. With burial to follow in the Oaklawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Saturday 6-8 p.m. In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the First Baptist Church or the Chapter 18 D.A.V.
Arby Ward, 89, of Tipp City, OH, formerly of Johnson County and husband of Faye Ratliff Ward, died Wednesday. Surviving in addition to his wife is 1 son, James David (Debora) Ward; 1 daughter, Linda Lee (James) Smith; 5 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., in the Buffalo United Baptist Church, Meally, KY, with burial to follow at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Staffordsville. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home, Friday 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m.
Martha Coleman, 64, Van Lear died Thursday. She is survived by 1 daughter, Audra Daniels; 1 son, Michael Arthur Perry; 5 grandchildren; 7 brothers, 1 sister. Funeral service will be Monday 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with burial in the Fannin Cemetery, Van Lear, Ky. Visitation will be at the Paintsville Funeral Home Sunday 2 to 10 p.m. and Monday after 9 a.m

He was born to the late Tobe and Norsie Williams Stapleton on August 16, 1958 in Paintsville, KY. Including his wife he is also survived by 1 Daughter: Megan Rae Stapleton; 1Step-Daughter: Brittany Jo Wells; 3 Sisters: Linda Lee (David) Binghan, Tobianna (Danny) McCarty & Virginia (James) Meadows; 1Grandson: Rylan Blair. Funeral Service will be held in the Paintsville Fuenral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:00AM. with Rev. Bruce Aaron Davis and Rev. Joe Scott officiating. Vernon "Preacher" Wells, 78, died July 1, 2015 at the Riverview Health Care Center. He was born to the late William and Margery Preston Wells on April 12, 1937 in Van Lear, KY. He is survived by 1 Son: Jerry Wells; 2 Daughters: Lisa Williams Strickland and Amy Alsip; 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Graveside Service will be held at the Sparks Cemetery, Blaine, KY on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 2:00PM.
