Willis G. McKenzie, 88, husband of Edna Ruth McKenzie, died April 29, 2010. He was born November 2, 1921 at Manila, Ky. to the late Harry "Hack" and Carrie Blanton McKenzie. He is survived by his 2 Sons: Billy "Helen" McKenzie, Cable, OH & Jimmy "Carol" McKenzie, Bradenton, FL; 4 Daughters: Kathy "John" Blair, Staffordaville, Janie McKenzie, Springfield, OH, Debbie "Mike" Sammons, Paintsville & Sue Carol "Larry" Simkins, Grove City, OH; Brother: Jimmy McKenzie, Paintsville; 4 Sisters: Ruth "Earnie" Branham, and Phyllis Merriot, both of Battlefied, MI, Ann "Johnny" Salyers, Flat Gap & Beulah "William" Trimble, Staffordsville; Grandchildren: 12 ; Great-Grandchildren: 13 Great-Great Grandchildren: 3.
Funeral Service at Paintsville United Baptist Church, Second Street, Paintsville on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 11 a.m. Elder Hobert May, Elder Dewey Mack Mullins and Rev. Jerry McKenzie officiated. Friends may call Sat. 1-10; Sun. 9 a.m.-10 p.m., Mon. 9 a.m., Paintsville Funeral Home.
Burial at The Reed Family Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky.
