Thomas H. Pelphrey, age 80, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 15, 1926 to the late Labe and Lou Williams Pelphrey of Denver, Ky. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Rita Opfermann Pelphrey, Toledo, Ohio; children, Thomas (Carolyn) Pelphrey, Jr; Wanda Lou Lewis; Rebecca (Dave) Smith; Nancy Lake; Roxann Pelphrey; Virginia (Richard) Weeman; Gary Opfermann; Vicki (Dennis) Oberski; Bill (Rebecca Dare) Opfermann; Alan (Darla) Opfermann; Judith (Al) Simmons; Thomas (Jane) Opfermann; Mary (Paul) Sopsack; Jim (Tammy) Opfermann; Susan Opfermann; Annette (Greg Nusbaum) Opfermann and John Opfermann; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Juanita Holbrook and Doris Jean Borders.
Visitation Wednesday 2-8 p.m. Ansberg West Funeral Home, Toledo, Ohio.
Funeral Friday 1 p.m. at the Tarklan United Baptist Church, Paintsville, Paul Pelphrey officiating. Visitation at the church 10 a.m. Friday until time of service.
Burial Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Staffordsville, Ky.
