Letha Mae Hackworth, 61, wife of Herbert Hackworth of Oil Springs, Ky., died June 24, 2008 at the Paul B. Hall RMC. She was born June 1, 1947. She is survived by Mother: Neva Lee Blanton Bayes, Flat Gap, Ky.; 2 Daughters: Norma Jean (Terry) Cox, Cincinnati, Ohio & Tamela Renae (Chris) McKenzie, Thealka, Ky.; Brother: Jim "Buddy" (Rose) Bayes, East Point, Ky.; 3 Sisters: Martha (Ronnie) Dunn, Hager Hill, Ky., Paula (Phillip) Howard, Flat Gap, Ky. & Norma (Herbert) Music, Hager Hill, Ky.; Grandchildren: 3. She was preceded in death by her father, James Bayes. She retired from Foothills Rural Telephone after 33 years of dedicated service. Funeral Service at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 12 Noon. Rev. John Estep and Rev. James McKenzie officiating. Friends may call Wed. 6-10 p.m., Thurs. & Fri. 9 a.m., Paintsville Funeral Home. Burial at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky.
