Judith M. Slone, 64, of Rockhouse, Hager Hill, Ky. died June 26, 2010 at her home. She was born April 16,1946 in Paintsville to the late Sam and Jewell Long Rice. She was preceded in death April 20, 2009, by her husband, William D. Slone. She is survived by Son: William Ryan Slone, Carleton, GA; Daughter: Lea "Scott" Souther, Hager Hill; Brother: Sam "Linda" Rice, Carlisle, PA; 2 Granddaughters: Lauren & Lexandra Souther. Judy was a retired secondary school teacher.
Funeral Service at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 1 p.m. Rev. Robert coppings officiated. Friends may call Mon. 5-9 p.m., Tues. 9 a.m., Paintsville Funeral Home.
Burial at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky.
