Johnny Carson Stapleton, 80, of Flat Gap died December 13, 2007. He was born July 8, 1927, to the late Dow and Alka Auxier Stapleton. He is survived by his 3 Sons: Paul Anthony, & Terry Stapleton both of Flat Gap and Randy Stapleton, Nippa; 2 Daughters: Helen Blanton Flat Gap & Kathy Murray, Paintsville; Sister: Gaye Bailey Goble, Flat Gap; Grandchildren: 11 ; Great-Grandchildren: 11. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willidene "Billie" Stapleton. He retired as a mechanic with the Johnson County School System.
