Davis Reed Trimble, Sr., 89 of Staffordsville, died July 17, 2010. He was born May 24, 1921 in Johnson County to the late Bruce and Norsie Reed Trimble. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Fairchild Trimble March 15, 2006. Also deceased is a son, Davis Reed Trimble, Jr. who died September 26, 2005. He is survived by his 2 Sons: Jackie & Robert Trimble both of Staffordsville; 3 Daughters: Janie Howard, Nicholasville, Ky., Virginia Bruce Pelphrey, New Carlisle, Ohio & Debra Ward, Paintsville; Brother: John Mark Trimble, Paintsville; 2 Sisters: Lorene Carney & Georgene McKenzie both of Staffordsville; Grandchildren: 10 ; Great-Grandchildren: 21; Step-grandchildren: 3.
Funeral Service at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 1 P.M. Rev. Jim McKenzie officiated. Friends may call Sun. 2-9 p.m., Mon. 9 a.m., Paintsville Funeral Home.
Burial at Reed Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky.
