Carl Blanton, 77, husband of Jeanette Jackson Blanton, died November 5, 2007. He was born October 25, 1930 to the late George B. and Rushia Jackson Blanton. He is survived by his 2 Sons: Carl Roger Blanton, Tutor Key & Jeffery Blanton, Oil Springs; Daughter: Dinah Cheryl Crum, Oil Springs; 5 Brothers: Chalmer of Campton, Ky., Donald and Kernie both of Carey, Ohio, Dorsey & Ronald both of Oil Springs; 2 Sisters: Boots Burke, Columbus, Ohio & Juanita Rhinehart, Crane, Michigan; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service at New Bethel Freewill Baptist Church, Riceville, on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 1 p.m.. Friends may call Mon. 6-10 p.m., Tues. 9 a.m.-10 p.m., Wed. 9 a.m. Paintsville Funeral Home. Rev. Melvin Blanton and Rev. Joe Scott officiating.
Burial at Johnson County Memorial, Staffordsville, Kentucky.
