William Darwin Slone, 64, husband of Judith Marion Rice Slone, died April 20, 2009. He was born August 5, 1944 to the late Dr. Agusutus D. Lone and Mary Malissa Wells Slone. He is survived by his Dughter: Alicia Lea "Scott" Souther, Hager Hill, Ky.; Son: William Ryan Slone, Calton, Georgia; Brother: James Seymour Slone, Atlanta, Georgea; 2 Granddaughters: Lexandra Souther & Lauren Southern. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of the Paintsville Masonic Lodge 381 F & AM.
Funeral Service at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 1 p.m. Rev. Robert Coppings officiated. DAV Chapter 18 of Auxier conducted military gravesite service. Friends may call Wed. 5-8 p.m., Thurs. 9 a.m., Paintsville Funeral Home.
Burial at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky.
