"Betty Jo Burchett"
Betty Jo Burchett, 75, of Eastwood, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2007, at Baptist Hospital East. She was a native of Johnson County, KY and a member of Flat Gap Baptist Church, Flat Gap, KY. She formerly worked at Central State Hospital and retired in 1992 from Rice Audubon. Graduated from Flat Gap High School “Class” of 1952, and Mayo State Vocational School. She was a member of Kentucky Public Retirees, a Kentucky Colonel and loved researching family genealogy.
She was a very special person and will be missed by family and numerous friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rexford R. and Bertha Blanton Trimble; a brother, Rexford R. Trimble, Jr., and a sister, Victoria A. Allen.
She is survived by a daughter; Vicky Cischke (Dwight), and a son, David Burchett (Sally), 2 grandchildren, Brian Burchett and Adam Cischke, three step-grandchildren and three step-great
grandchildren. A sister, Anna Martha Williams (O.D.), Columbus, Ohio, a brother, John H. Trimble (Ruth), Ashland, Ky., 1 niece and 3 nephews. Pallbearers were David Burchett, Brian Burchett, Dan Boone, Dwight Cischke, Adam Cischke, Ralph Spriggs, George Spriggs, John Williams.
The family would like to thank Presbyterian Homes of Louisville for the care she received.
Visitation was 2:00pm - 8:00pm Tuesday at Paintsville Funeral Home. Funeral was held at 11:00am Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at the Paintsville Funeral Home. Burial in Blanton Cemetery, Stone Coal, Volga, KY.
