Albert K. Layton, 79, husband of Patricia Rice Layton of Oil Springs, died April 12, 2010. He was born March 2, 1931 in Swedesboro, New Jersey to the late Albert Steven and Merle Anderson Layton. He is survived by his 2 Sons: Albert Carl Layton, Oil Springs & Robert Layton, Pilesgrove, NJ; Brother: Dr. Robert Layton, Corvalis, OR; Sister: Eleanor Loomis, Troy, PA; 2 Grandsons: Justin & Travis Layton; 1 Granddaughter: Rachel Layton. Mr. Layton had served as a Methodist Minister for many years.
Funeral Service at Oil Springs United Methoidst Church, Oil Springs on Friday, April 16, 2010 at 1 p.m. Rev. John Back officiated. Friends may call Thurs. 3-9 p.m., Paintsville Funeral Home; Fri. 12 noon, at the church.
Burial at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky.
